COVID-19 Customer Update
In light of the continuing COVID-19 pandemic, Orthoplus is still closed. Please be reassured that we will get appointments re-allocated as soon as practical, once we are allowed to re-open.
We know that this is inconvenient but it is the right thing to do, as we can all agree that orthodontics is not a priority at present. However, we also know this means more time with braces on and patiently waiting for the finish line to appear! Lost or broken retainers and removable appliances will also have to wait until we are allowed to re-open again.
Thank you all so much for your understanding and for our small part, we have donated all our surplus cross infection control items such as gloves and masks to the local health bodies.
In the meantime, please look after yourselves and the braces!
KEEP THEM CLEAN 😁🥇💪😇
If you need to get in touch for orthodontic emergencies, call the practice on 02825655500 for the latest up to date information. Please also use the link: www.bos.org.uk to the British Orthodontic Society website to check for DIY help and hints if this can be of any help!
We sincerely hope all our patients and families stay safe over the coming weeks.
Welcome to Orthoplus
We are a specialist orthodontic practice in Ballymena which offers treatments, both NHS and privately, to children and adults resulting in a smile to be proud of Orthodontics is the branch of dentistry that involves the straightening of crooked or over crowded teeth and jaws using braces. These fixed braces or removable aligners gently guide the teeth into the most desirable position, resulting in a natural healthy smile.
An orthodontist is a qualified dentist who has completed further specialist training in orthodontics. All orthodontists on the Orthoplus team, Sally-Ann, Lorraine and Mark are UK registered specialists with the General Dental Council. Sally-Ann opened the specialist practice in 2009 with Lorraine joining at the start too.
All the team work hard to develop the right treatment plan for each patient and aim to complete it to the highest possible standards of care and exceed your expectations of what your finished smile will be.
